Join in the 2026 Great British Spring Clean!
The Great British Spring Clean will take place from 13 to 29 March 2026. This is a great chance for residents to get involved with our mission to tackle litter.
Stonesfield Parish Council represents the interests of residents and works to maintain and improve life in the village. The Council manages local facilities, protects community assets, and supports projects that help Stonesfield remain a vibrant and welcoming place to live. The Council is responsible for: Looking after bus shelters, benches, and noticeboards. Arranging grass cutting and small-scale village maintenance. Commenting on planning applications within the parish. Managing the parish finances and setting the annual precept. Supporting local groups, events, and initiatives. Liaising with West Oxfordshire District Council and Oxfordshire County Council on local services, highways and environmental matters.

Stonesfield Parish Council has submitted the Stonesfield Neighbourhood Plan to West Oxfordshire District Council which can be viewed below. The 6-week statutory Regulation 16 consultation on the Stonesfield Neighbourhood Plan is now open for comments.

Litter in and around the village, including roadside verges, has increased again. To help tackle this, 15 litter pickers and bags are available to borrow for residents who wish to help keep the village clean and tidy. The PC thanks Jess Huband for co-ordinating.
