Stonesfield Parish Council is looking for residents who care about the village and want to help shape its future. Becoming a Parish Councillor is a rewarding way to have a real say in local matters and be a voice for your community.
Parish Councillors represent the views of residents and help make decisions on issues such as planning applications, village facilities, community projects, and local services. You don’t need any previous experience, just an interest in the village, a willingness to listen, and time to attend meetings.
The Council meets regularly, and training and support are provided. Many councillors find the role both interesting and satisfying, offering the chance to work with others to protect what makes Stonesfield special while planning positively for the future.
If you care about your village and want to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.
For more information or an informal chat about what’s involved, please contact the Parish Clerk or speak to a current councillor.
